YEAR OF THE CHAIR:
People are making fun of this incident. They are calling it the “year of the chair.” A Detroit-based Instagram page shared the footage with the caption, “The era of the folding chair: Downtown Detroit yesterday.” In the video, you can hear bystanders yelling for the man to stop and another person in the background yelling, “You’re gonna get f*cked up.”
As of right now, it isn’t clear when, exactly, the clip was recorded and what, exactly, transpired before the moments captured in the video. But the video has gained major attention on social media because a similar incident occurred in Alabama.
FOLDING CHAIR INCIDENT EXPLAINED:
A black man named Reggie Gray was seen smashing a chair against the white guy who provoked the fight. According to our recent searches, the nearby witnesses say the White man started the fight with him. He bothered the Black man 3 times in front of his wife. Reggie ignored him, but after the 3rd time, he sent her wife in an Uber and returned with a folding chair.
